Originally created in a hotel in Philadelphia for "The Clover Club". A prestige group of people which members were bankers, politicians and the sorts. 

The protagonist of this drink is obviously the raspberry, the sourness of the lime gives a tingling feeling on your pallet and the dry vermouth balances everything out. 

Based on Gin, raspberry, lime and dry vermouth.
