The Mai Tai cocktail was created in 1944 by Victor J. "Trader Vic" Bergeron at his Trader Vic's restaurant in California.

The Mai Tai quickly became a signature drink of Tiki culture, celebrated for its tropical and exotic flavors.

One of my all time favorites!

Based on a blend of Dark Rum, home made almond syrup, lime & mint cordial and orange liqueur.
